The Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust was established on 20th December, 1982 at Nanded for enhancing the scope and affordability of educational opportunities available to the people of Marathwada region. Since inception, the Trust has done outstanding service to Society by providing education in Medical, Engineering, Management, Computer Science & IT, Bioinformatics & Biotechnology, Agriculture, Fine and Performing arts, Journalism and primary education with upmost dedication and commitment. Phenomenal growth of educational institutions under its wings at Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai and Parbhani in Maharashtra and Noida (New Delhi) in UP bears testimony to the fact that the trust is constantly alive to and is meeting ever increasing aspirations of society in the field of education. Concern for Promotion and preservation of Indian culture, Gandhian values and sports is central to the vision of the Trust. Creation of contemporary academic environment and state of the art institutional infrastructure by the trust reflects its resolve to produce human resource which would contribute immensely to the society, nation and the humanity.
The Trust takes its strength from its Chairman Hon’ble Shri Kamalkishor Kadam, former Education Minister of Maharashtra. An alumnus of IIT Mumbai, Mr. Kadam is a highly experienced academician and educationist. All founder members of the trust are academicians, professionals and visionaries inspired by Late Shri Nanasaheb Kadam, an ardent follower of the Gandhian ideology.
